Čorvoš 2010 goes to "Forced Ashore"
The Čorvoš-award symbolizes the strength of the reindeer bull and will go to a filmmaker that in the same way stands out with its power.
The price is 10 000 NOK and an artwork of silver and reindeerhorn made by Juhls Silver Gallery, designed by Jens Clausen, with a value of 10 000 NOK. Nordnorsk Filmsenter and Sami Film Festival gives this price together. This year the Čorvos-award goes to Harry Johansen and Torill Olsen, withe the film "Forced Ashore".

A strong, moving and revealing cinematic craftmanship, about a struggle to live.
The film brings into light the betrayal of the establishment towards a hidden part of sami culture.
Screening a current, important part of our history. An encounter with a determined, stubborn human for a right to live according to his heritage.
